This is my oldest son (isn't he handsome?!?). I can't believe how fast he is growing up and we are always talking about the future and so I wanted to look back a little and see what he "wanted to be when he grew up". This took me 15 minutes to complete! I LOVE QUICK PAGES!!!! Graphically Speaking is an AWESOME cartridge! I am going to be using it a lot to get my pages done super fast! I love the notebook paper cut! It is such a fun element to add to a page. I thought I would only use it for journaling but then I wanted to see how large this notebook page could cut and I LOVED it and decided just to add the picture, the dream big cut, and the journaling and be done! Simple page but that works for me!

Thank you gifts
I needed to bring some thank you gifts to some very sweet friends who helped me out with a party that I had this week and so I wanted to make them delicious triple chunk brownies!!! I love Tags Bags Boxes and More because of all of the cute boxes and I knew right away that I wanted to make them the heart topped box and fill it with brownies! They turned out so cute!!! I lined the whole thing with wax paper and then put a piece of wax paper in between each brownie piece so they wouldn't stick together. I made very simple matching cards to go with them. YUMMY....

Wall hanging~Whimisical Scraps and Bugs Challenge
This was our instructions for the newest challenge for Whimsical Scraps and Bugs: BLACK & WHITE Challenge.......... only 1 other color will be permitted and it must be minimal! You can create anything you want to!!! A card.... A LO.... An Altered item.... ANYTHING!!!!! : ) You MUST use the word SPRING (letters cut from any Cricut cart).
I chose to make a wall hanging with the word spring. This was a very difficult challenge for me! When I think of spring I think of a lot of colors, especially pastel colors and so black and white was not the direction I was thinking of! I really liked doing the challenge once I got into it! It looks good hanging in my living room and my husband even likes it... who knew!
All of the cuts are from the Storybook cartridge. I cut the letters 3 times out of chipboard and then cut the letters out of the patterned paper from basic grey. The black and white paper is from Prima. I used a stamp by O'Scrap! for the Spring definition then raised it with pop dots. A little bit of Stickles in the middle of the flowers and some inking.
We were trimming back our trees today and so I thought I should photograph it in a tree in my backyard. It just looks like spring with all of the new flowers blooming in our tree! Happy Spring!
