Wall hanging~ BBTB contest

I really loved the inspiration magazine ad that Regina picked out at BBTB. I decided to make a wall hanging for the family room with Home Accents. I used scalloped chipboard frames and inked them dark brown and then added all of the fun embellishments. Home Accents has all of the swirls and beautiful sayings so when I saw "live, laugh, love" I knew that that was the perfect thing that I needed for the wall. The W and M are Heidi Swapp chipboard letters and the off white lettering is Making Memories rub ons. I used pop dots under live, laugh, love to help give it a little depth. Thanks for looking and wish me luck...

Sadies Birthday presents

Sadie just had her 3rd birthday! VERY LAST MINUTE I decided after I had wrapped all of her presents at midnight, that they were too plain and she would LOVE some cricut love on them! So I whipped out Happily Ever After and because it was so late I thought that I would just keep it really simple and just do some of the shapes! But then I thought that they were too plain and so I had to whip out the stickles and decorate them up! I should have just made the princesses! Sometimes (and this time I am blaming it on total lack of sleep) I just don't make very smart decisions! With all that said, it was a fabulous birthday and she loved all of the gift wrap ALMOST as much as she loved the presents! She did not rip one of the things that were on her presents. She would take them off and hand them to me! She knows what is important to her Mama!

Shannon and Jerry LO

This is my friend Shannon with Jerry when he was a baby. Time has flown by way too fast! I used flowers and ribbon even though it is going in Jerrys book... I just have to be me.

BBTB contest entry ~ Inspire

The BBTB contest was so cool this time I couldn't pass it up. Regina came up with a magazine ad that we were to draw inspiration from. I really loved the colors in the picture and it is a very inspiring picture in itself! I wanted to make a card for a very dear friend of mine that let her know how AWESOME I think she is. I used the colors from the ad and I loved the font at the bottom of the ad and it made me think of the home accents cartridge.
I tried sewing for the first time on paper and I LOVED IT! I will be sewing on more and more projects!

Inspire was cut from Home Accents
You and me were cut from Opposites Attract

Thanks for stopping by and wish me luck...

All Boy LO

I distressed the pictures edges by scrapping them with the cricut tool that looks like a dentist tool. I love the way it turned out.
I love this paper that I found at Green Tangerine!!! It is so boy! I took these pictures of Jerry on the last day of Kindergarten. His teacher told me that he was always playing air guitar in class.
I still have to journal... so much to do so little time!

Baby Jerry LO

I am finally getting Jerrys baby book done... yes I realize he is 6, but better late than never! So I have been making LO's from now and from when he is a baby. It's all good...

Blue Eyed Boy~ Cloud 9 papers

I love the new papers from Cloud 9. This layout is too busy for me but Jerry is so cute that I think it might make up for the fact that I am not in love with the way I put it together.

I COULDN"T BELIEVE IT!!!!!

Look what Gramma Sharon sent me!!!! I got the package yesterday and opened it and tears came to my eyes!!! I love this book!!! I carry it with me to show all of my friends so they can attest that it is even MORE AMAZING in person and I can't believe that she sent it to me! She is the sweetest person and she has mad skills in the paper crafting industry! I also got the illusive martha stewart punch and some of the cutest stamps that I have ever seen! I am so spoiled!!!!! THANKS SHARON!

New Brighton Beach Double LO

I found out that my favorite scrapbooking store The Green Tangerine is looking for designers for their store (hello! DREAM JOB!). In order to be considered you had to submit a double layout and then they will narrow it down to the top 50 and then customers will vote on their favorites. So I submitted my latest layout from our vacation to New Brighton Beach.

I used Alphalicious for the title. Accent Essentials for the swirls. Paper Doll Dress Up for the shells. I think it turned out pretty cute but we will have to see if it fits the Green Tangerine style...

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your summer vacation!
