Provo Craft has ME on their Blog!!!!

I just had the most surreal experience! I was looking at details about the Cricut Golden Ticket Cruise and I went on the Cricut Blog and THERE I WAS! I was SO EXCITED! This is not helping my un-natural obsession with Provo Craft... Here is the link (although I am sure you will not have the same feelings that I had!)

Hello!  I am sorry that I am not posting!  I am on vacation in Utah.  I feel like I am in "Cricut Heaven".  I am headed to the Provo Craft Outlet which is the closest thing to heaven on earth for me!

Provo Craft was having a company picnic today and I really wanted to go to Springville and try to crash... it is an obsession... I know I need help, isn't that the first step??????

I will be back in a few weeks!  Wish me luck!

Teacher Gifts~ Notepads

My daughters teacher and her husband LOVE Disneyland. I also have been known to have a sweet spot for the happiest place on earth. So to make these goodies were so much fun for me!

Pot with Pens

Magnets

Tissue Box for Teacher

Tissues are on every teachers desk and so I thought this would be a cute thing for her to have. Hot glue is holding together the foam board. Then it is covered in paper with ribbon hot glued on the top. Not perfect but adorable!

Last day of school notebooks

Baby Gift

This is a baby bathtub made from a basket and diapers. We filled it with clothes, baby bath, lotions, powder, bibs, and a baby word book that I made. Then we put a bear and a silk blanket on top to look like the bear was taking a bath! I got the idea from the cricut message board and it had plain white diapers and was WAY cuter but this was a fun way to give a baby gift.

IT's Finally Summer!!!!

I kind of fell off of the crafting world for a little while but I have finally found my way back! I got very busy with school at the end of the year and the first thing that suffered was my house (cleaning) and then the cooking went and then so very sadly my crafting! Well school is over and now I can post some of the things that I did in the last few months.

This was a set that I made for the awesome secretaries at school! They save me on a daily basis and so I thought I would make them a cute treat!

Quick page ~ Graphically Speaking

This is my oldest son (isn't he handsome?!?). I can't believe how fast he is growing up and we are always talking about the future and so I wanted to look back a little and see what he "wanted to be when he grew up". This took me 15 minutes to complete! I LOVE QUICK PAGES!!!! Graphically Speaking is an AWESOME cartridge! I am going to be using it a lot to get my pages done super fast! I love the notebook paper cut! It is such a fun element to add to a page. I thought I would only use it for journaling but then I wanted to see how large this notebook page could cut and I LOVED it and decided just to add the picture, the dream big cut, and the journaling and be done! Simple page but that works for me!

I Believe in Fairies

For my mom who LOVES Fairies. She has a whole fairy room so I made this to go in her room.
I used Stone Script, TinkerBell and Friends, Home Decor, and Design Studio. I welded wings onto the F and cut out gold swirls from Home Decor and using transfer paper I placed them on the wings. I LOVE the way the gold fairy dust turned out. I thought it would be really hard to get on the board but I placed it on the wood using transfer paper and it was SOOOO EASY!

Thank you gifts

I needed to bring some thank you gifts to some very sweet friends who helped me out with a party that I had this week and so I wanted to make them delicious triple chunk brownies!!! I love Tags Bags Boxes and More because of all of the cute boxes and I knew right away that I wanted to make them the heart topped box and fill it with brownies! They turned out so cute!!! I lined the whole thing with wax paper and then put a piece of wax paper in between each brownie piece so they wouldn't stick together. I made very simple matching cards to go with them. YUMMY....
